Alright, so here it is, this thing that made me so happy that I am writing a blog on how much I love something:
"Grace means that all of your mistakes now serve a purpose instead of serving shame."
khvfgjgs.
I love this so much, because this is so true, and so refreshing, and so happy-making, and so, so, so beautiful.
Grace is an instrument that God uses to show us His love.  Grace is when God says, "Yeah, I know you made of mess of your life, and of lots of other people's lives, but hey, I still love you, and I love all of them, and I'm also awesome enough that I can use this to make something beautiful, something glorious, something good, even though you can't."  Grace means that even if I don't listen to common sense and other people get hurt, He can use that.  Grace means that even if I disobey and make a fool of myself, He can use that.  Grace means that even though I turn away from God and hurt Him and kick pig slop all over His beautiful plan for my life, He still has a beautiful plan for my life.
Grace is the opportunity to serve and to love and to be loved by a God so amazing that He is willing to love me, despite all of my faults and failures, because He is amazing enough to make the cesspool that is this sinner a son [daughter] of the One who created the world and sent His Son to die for it.
"But He giveth more grace." James 4:6a
"Thus says the LORD:”The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness; when Israel sought for rest, the LORD appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you." Jeremiah 31:2-3
"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me
." II Corinthians 12:9
"
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16
"
And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified." Acts 20:32
"
But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift." Eph. 4:7
